What you'll see
The travertine pools (barefoot walk required), Hierapolis theatre and necropolis, and the antique Cleopatra Pool where you can swim among 2,000-year-old marble columns (small extra fee).
Practical tips
It's a long day (about 3 hours each way from Antalya) so we recommend leaving early. Bring swimwear, a towel and a lightweight bag. Sunglasses are essential — the travertines are painfully bright.
