Antalya is Turkey's Turquoise Coast capital — a year-round destination that mixes Roman ruins, cliff-top old towns, waterfalls, blue-flag beaches and world-class resorts. This local guide covers the experiences travellers actually book with us.
1. Wander Kaleiçi (Antalya Old Town)
Cobbled streets, Ottoman houses, Hadrian's Gate and the marina viewpoint at Karaalioğlu Park. Best visited in the late afternoon when the light hits the cliffs.
Combine it with a short boat trip from the marina to see the Lower Düden Waterfalls falling straight into the sea.
2. Boat tour along the coast
A relaxed 4–6 hour boat tour from Antalya, Kemer, Side or Alanya with swim stops, lunch on board and views of Cleopatra-style bays. Ideal for families and couples.
3. Waterfalls: Düden, Kurşunlu and Manavgat
Three very different waterfalls — Düden inside the city, Kurşunlu in a quiet forest park, and the wide Manavgat falls near Side. All are transfer-friendly half-day trips.
4. Ancient cities: Aspendos, Perge and Side
The Aspendos Roman theatre is one of the best-preserved in the world. Perge's colonnaded street and Side's seaside Apollo temple round out a perfect history day.
5. Adventure: rafting, jeep safari and Tahtalı cable car
Köprülü Canyon rafting, Taurus mountain jeep safaris and the Olympos Teleferik cable car to 2,365 m are all bookable as day tours with hotel pickup.
6. Day trips: Pamukkale and Cappadocia
Pamukkale's white travertines and Hierapolis are a long but memorable day trip. For Cappadocia we recommend our 2-day tour with a hot-air balloon flight sunrise option.
